About Dr. Geller

Elena Geller, MD brings a diverse set of skills to KLM Eye MDs, ranging from routine ophthalmology to oculoplastics. Dr. Geller provides a variety of services for her Brooklyn, New York patients, including general care of issues such as dry eyes, chalazia or styes, eyelid lesions, glaucoma monitoring and treatment, as well as refractive and laser cataract surgery.

As crucial as the eyes are, so are the eyelids that protect them. Dr. Geller specializes in blepharoplasty of upper and lower eyelids, ptosis repair, entropion and ectropion repair, eyelid lesion removal and biopsy, as well as eyelid cancer reconstructions. Rounding out her services, Dr. Geller provides Botox® and dermal filler injections for both functional and aesthetic concerns.

In 2001, Dr. Geller earned a Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, then went on to earn her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York in 2005.

Her on-the-job training began at Mount Sinai Hospital, where she interned in preliminary medicine from 2005 to 2006, after which she moved north to Boston to complete her residency in ophthalmology at the Boston University School of Medicine at the Boston Medical Center in 2009. Not stopping there, Dr. Geller continued her training and became an oculoplastics fellow in 2010 at the Boston Medical Center.

Dr. Geller is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She’s also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the New England Oculoplastics Society.

During her extensive training and work experience, Dr. Geller has given multiple oral presentations, and she was published in the Journal of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
